Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has begun on a tour of the Greater Accra Region.
Among the activities scheduled for the tour, Dr. Bawumia will inspect ongoing works and commission completed projects in some constituencies.
His first port of call will be Ngleshi Amanfrom in the Ga South Municipality where he will interact with traditional authorities, residents of the constituency and other interest groups.
The Vice President will use the platform to outline already rolled out policies and interventions initiated by government as well as the need for the NPP to be retained in the December polls.
While at Tuba, Dr. Bawumia is also expected to inspect the ongoing construction of an astroturf with a thousand seater capacity.
The project which is funded by the National Youth Authority is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
With incumbent MP, Habib Saad losing to the Chief Executive officer of the National Youth Authority Sylvester Tetteh, the Ngleshie Amanfro seat which was first won by the NDC in 2012, promises to be one of the keenly contested constituencies in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
