The running mate to the NDC's flagbearer, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang says the next NDC administration will provide good roads and bridges to end all travelling challenges in the Oti Region.
This was during her two-day tour of the region after a similar tour of the Volta Region.
Speaking to traditional authorities in the Kete Krachi Traditional Area, the former Education Minister said should the NDC come into power after the December polls, various developmental projects will be implemented to end all the transportation challenges faced by the people.
Speaking to some party supporters, Professor Opoku-Agyemang reiterated an earlier pledge by the flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama to construct a bridge across River Oti, as well as complete the rehabilitation of some major roads in the region.
"Who suffers when there are no good roads? The people. Drivers and food vendors who use these poor roads are affected therefore good roads are important to us all," she stressed.
Using the same platform, Prpofessor Opoku-Agyemang called on party supporters to ensure peace prevails before, during and after the December 7 polls.
The flagbearer is being accompanied on her tour by a host of NDC executives including Alex Segbefia, a former Minister for Health and Deputy Campaign Manager of the party for the 2020 elections, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, a former Deputy Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for North Tongu, and other past appointees.
