Musician and record producer Bisa Kdei says he saved Highlife music from dying out when his career took off.
According to him, he has done a lot of work to grow the genre and deserves to be credited for it.
"I’m the king of highlife music/the best ever and I saved it. You can argue. I always say I’ll use my energy to support and encourage others to do more," Bisa Kdei wrote in a tweet.

His comment comes after some social media users began comparing to Kuami Eugene, Kumi Guitar, Akwaboah and other Highlife artistes.
The Mansa hitmaker stated that he is not fazed by the comparison adding that he prefers people focus on seeing every artiste thrive.
"It’s a total waste of time if you think trolls and comparisons will break me," he added.
Bisa Kdei is expected to release his fourth studio album before the year ends.
