Personal belongings and properties worth millions of Ghana cedis have been destroyed after fire razed to the ground some 13 apartments at Adomako, a suburb of Sunyani.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service, no person was reported dead or physically harmed and the cause of the fire still remains unknown.
Some victims including Mr Obeng Kusi attributed the fire outbreak to the intermittent power outages experienced in the area.

They stated that personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service arrived at the scene when the fire had gutted most of the apartments.
The Sunyani Municipal Fire Commander is of the belief that the unapproved layout of electric cables may have started the fire, therefore, urged the public to engage professional electricians to wire their buildings.

Meanwhile, the Assemblyman for Asufufu/Watchman electoral area, Francis Kroang has commiserated with the victims and is calling on the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to come to their aid.
He also urged the public to always put-off electrical gadgets before leaving their respective homes.
Most of the victims are currently residing with some families and friends in the locality.
