The Ministry of Information held a press briefing to inform Ghanaians on the initiatives government has put in place to address the recent power outages experienced in the country.
According to GRIDCo and ECG, some parts of the country for approximately 8 days will experience an interruption of power for a maximum of 12 hours to enable them to undertake an upgrade of their system. This, they say, will help to rectify the energy sector challenges currently being faced in the country.
Minister for Energy Matthew Opoku Prempeh therefore addressed the nation on the progress made thus far.
