Prophet Temitope Balogu Joshua died on June 6, 2021, six days to his birthday.
The official announcement came from his church.

It regrettably announced that “God has taken His servant Prophet T. B. Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for, and died for.”
Though the cause of death is not yet certain, it was reported by The Cable, a Nigerian online news portal that, 57-year-old Temitope Balogun Joshua was flown to Turkey to undergo treatment after he suffered a stroke two months ago.
T. B. Joshua, it said was airlifted with an air ambulance from Nigeria to Turkey to receive treatment as his condition was dire.
The Cable said, the controversial pastor recently returned to Nigeria after treatment.
