Reginald Yaw Asante Osei, popularly known as Reggie Rockstone, has said that he feels elated at the euphoria generated by Joy Entertainment's decision to celebrate him across the Joy Cluster on Friday, November 5, 2021.
As part of the celebration, Reggie Rockstone’s music was put on rotation and played across all the Joy cluster platforms.
Beginning with the JoyFM’s Super Morning Show, Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, JoyNews’ AM Show, the celebration was climaxed with Lexis Bill on Drive Time on Joy FM.
Speaking with Lexis on the Drive Time show, Reggie said “I feel very good, I feel like James Brown, I feel like jumping back inside myself. People making it like its my birthday, I received a cake. This came at the right time.”
During the interview with Lexis, Reggie disclosed that he has forgotten the lyrics of some of the songs. "My catalogue is huge, some of these songs, I can't even remember them," the GrandPapa of Hiplife music said amid laughter.
Earlier in the interview on Daybreak Hitz, Reggie expressed gratitude to Joy Entertainment.
Oblivious of the nature of Joy Entertainment’s Celebrate, he said “at first I thought it was just one spot Joy FM, then I saw [realized] it was the whole Joy Cluster”.
On the JoyFM’s Super Morning Show, listeners were asked to call in and request for their favourite Reggie Rockstone’s music to be played.
The originator of Hiplife called on all Ghanaians to stream his new music “Move fasta”.
“I need to get that one million views for move faster,” he told Lexis on the Drive time show.
The celebration of the Hiplife musician who has been in the industry for 30 years would be climaxed at the Lagoon bar with DJ Black on Friday evening.
