The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in Tema has restored power supply within the Krobo area.
This follows a recent shut down of power supply as a result of illegal interferences with the company's network.
In a press release, ECG said it "restored supply to customers in the Krobo enclave, after security agencies assisted ECG engineers to check the integrity of the distribution network to ensure safe and quality power supply."
Notwithstanding the current progress, some three distribution transformers are without power supply.

The power service provider further explained that this is due to "tampered transformers within their localities which have become faulty."
Meanwhile, customers in the affected localities have been assured that engineers are working around the clock to resolve the challenges.
"Affected customers should please note that, ECG engineers are working assiduously to rectify the faults and restore supply as soon as practicable," the release concluded.
