The Technical University Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG) has bemoaned the worsening conditions of service for staff of technical universities.

They believe reaching parity is a difficulty since many of the conditions are based on the condition of service in the previous polytechnic status.

Members want the government to expedite action in writing to approve agreed conditions between management of the technical universities and the unions.

TUTAG holds the opinion that support for technical universities aimed at improving standards are inadequate.

The Association issued a statement at the end of the 43rd Congress of the Technical University Teachers’ Association of Ghana (TUTAG) held at the Takoradi Technical University.
