Flora Tissues has been adjudged the National tissue brand of the year at the just-ended National Fast-Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) Summit and awards ceremony held on Friday at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
According to the organisers of the event, the award was a recognition of Flora tissue’s tremendous effort in product innovation and resilience in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The latest award makes it three in the space of a week for the fast-rising Ghanaian brand which was awarded the Disposable tissue of the year at the National Brand Innovations awards event held last two weekends.
Addressing the media on the night, Barbara Incoom, Marketing Director at Delta Paper Mill Limited, has extended appreciation to the Ghanaian populace for their support in making the brand a household name.

The brand, she assured was not taking the recognition lightly and has instituted measures necessary for continuous product innovation to match consumer preference and taste.
She noted that “the Ghanaian consumer deserves the best for their money in the face of the enormous brand trust and loyalty.”
The FMCG Summit & Awards Night is the first of its kind and aims to be Africa's premier gathering of companies, leaders, and experts in the consumer goods sector, addressing modern discoveries and future trends in the industry through a variety of sessions and experiences.
Under the theme: Codes of Winning in the New Reality; Sustaining Winning Brands with the New Consumer, the event brought together key players and delegates from the consumer-packaged goods and business industries in Ghana, Africa, and around the world.
Within the last nine months, the Flora tissues have won four awards in total. Notable amongst which are; Made in Ghana Tissue Product of the Year (Made in Ghana Awards 2021), Disposable Tissue Brand of the Year (National Brand Innovations Awards 2022), and Recognition as One of the Top 100 Brands Across Industries in Ghana (National Brand Innovations Awards 2022).
Other notable awardees (brands) on the night were Indomie Noodles, Pepsodent, Guinness, and Dano milk, to name a few.
