Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Stephen Asamoah Boateng, says he has the best chance when it comes to winning the New Patriotic Party Chairmanship race.
Speaking on The Probe on Sunday, Asabee as he is popularly called, noted that he has carefully thought about his chances of winning and thinks he “stands tall above the rest.”
According to him, he has also outlined seven strategies he would use to break the eight, which he says none of his competitors have so far provided.
In addition, Mr. Asamoah Boateng also believes that amongst his competitors, he has the combative power to ‘face’ the NDC.
“The final one is that I know the NDC better. My colleagues have said to them that they should have let me go and they should not have competed. I have told them, I am a field commander and an organiser in a way, so I am going to be a chairman-organiser combined,” he told host, Emefa Apawu.
Asabee assured that he will win some 51 seats for the NPP in the 2024 elections should he become the Chairman of the party.
The seats he said include Sene West, Banda and Pusiga.
“The NDC won 51 seats with less than three thousand votes. I am targeting all of them. One of them is Sene West where they won with 16, we should overturn it so I am targeting it. Another is Pusiga, they won with 63, I am targeting it and Banda so I have a clear idea what to do to win power.
"I am targeting 170 seats in Parliament. In fact, four in Volta Region and four in Oti,” he noted.
