Promasidor Ghana Limited, producer of Onga range of food spices, has reiterated its commitment to continue producing quality food products for consumers.
According to Senior Brands Manager, Eva Njeru, the company is tirelessly working to improve and develop to the highest position in the market.
Speaking to Joy Business at the 2022 edition of the Onga Jollof Battle, she called for a closer relationship and collaboration between the brand and its customers to strive for the growth of the business in all aspects.
She said the company will continue to forge strong bonds with distributors in a market where competition is constantly growing and control of distribution channels are fiercely contested.
“Every year, we wish to maintain this participation across the nation as we solicit opinions that will aid in our development”.
“We are also coming out with fresh recipes so that customers have a wide range of options when it comes to Onga,” She said.
Magnus Dei, the Marketing Manager for Onga, outlined the goals of the collaboration with Promasidor to plan this year's ‘Jollof’ battle.
He maintained that such a relationship is essential for the expansion of both businesses.
He pleaded with' clients of both companies to help them expand their businesses.
“We need more of such partnerships because it’s necessary to see my company and Promasidor flourish to support the Ghanaian economy”, he said.
The winner of the Onga Jollof competition, the Presbyterian Boys Secondary School, expressed its joy at victory.
“We were expecting to win the Jollof Battle, so it’s not new. We are delighted to have won the competition and I believe there is more ahead”, members of the contest said.
The Onga Jollof Battle's inaugural competition was held in 2019.
