African leaders at the ongoing 13th AU Summit in Libya have passed a resolution to transform the African Union Commission into an Authority. Leaders believe an AU Authority will be more effective in promoting intra-national trade and uniting the continent. Mahama Ayariga told Joy News Thursday discussions were temporarily suspended while the Foreign Ministers reviewed documents which he said were the subject of controversy.
