Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko, have confirmed the exit of defender Christopher Nettey following the expiration of his contract.
Since joining the club, Nettey has been one of the key figures n the Porcupine Warriors dressing room playing under different head coaches.
He joined the Kumasi-based side from Attram de Visser Academy in 2019, on a three-year contract.
En route to Kotoko clinching their last league title, the right-back was vital alongside a competitor, Augustine Agyapong, who is currently with the Black Galaxies.
However, both Nettey and Kotoko could not find an agreement on a new deal with the club and the player confirming the decision to part ways.
The 24-year-old is reportedly considering his options regarding his next destination but has not ruled out a stay in Ghana's top flight.
