The Head Pastor of the Christian Center Assembly of God in Kumasi, Rev. Osei Karikari Annor, has entreated married couples to avoid being secretive.
This, according to him, is one of the major reasons most marriages are facing challenges in recent times.
In a conversation with KMJ on Prime Morning on Thursday, the pastor asserted that couples should not have difficulties opening up to each other.
He said that immediately both parties are united in marriage, all secrets have to end to be able to have a successful union.
"The privacy of the married couple should be naked. Why am I saying this? If your wife as at this time is able to hide her phone from you and you don’t know the password to your husband’s or wife’s phone, then there’s a problem," he said.
In addition, Rev. Osei Annor indicated that some couples gradually lose the love and affection they had for each other when they start giving birth.
Also, he believes that most couples change their attitudes towards their partners due to some pressure from their children, which affects the happiness of the family.
Speaking on the show, the head pastor said, "Don’t ever allow the coming in of the children and the coming in of deliveries and pressure change you so much. Your appearance must be maintained."
Although it may be sometimes difficult to manage the pressure, including their work, he urged the husbands to be supportive. He said they should play with the kids often.
"These are the things that will keep the marriage going," he said.
