Two top executives of AkzoNobel South Africa have arrived in Accra for a five-day working visit to acquaint themselves with the local paint industry in Ghana.
This is also to enable the company to cement the paint manufacturing decades-old relationship with Coral Paints Ghana, which represents AkzoNobel in the country.
The executives, Export Development Manager, Henrique Da Costa, and the Africa and Exports Manager, Percy Kutumela, have so far interacted with Coral Paints Ghana retailers in Accra.
They are billed to participate in strategy sessions to share ideas on how to maintain the brand’s premium reputation and strengthen its relationships with the Ghanaian market.
AkzoNobel, which manufactures the Coral and Dulux paint brands, has operations in more than 80 countries worldwide.
Their products are considered premium quality in the building industry and they have retained a significant market share in Ghana for decades.
Coral Paints Ghana is the pioneer and market leader in decorative premium-quality paints in the country.
As part of their visit, Mr Da Costa and Mr Kutumela will interact with some of Ghana’s best-known built industry professionals.
