Ghana international Ernest Agyiri has signed for Danish Superliga side Randers Football Club for the 2023/24 season.
The attacker has signed a three-year deal with the Crown Jutlanders which will see him stay at the club until 2026.
The 25-year-old joins Randers from Estonian side Levadia Tallinn where he has spent three years after joining them in January 2021 after ending his stay with Manchester City.
The Superliga side confirmed the signing of the forward in a statement on Wednesday, August 2.
"Randers FC sign Ghanaian winger Ernest Agyiri, who has signed a three-year deal with the Crown Jutlanders," the statement said.
"I am very pleased that we have signed Ernest. He has x-factor and can give something to the squad that we don't have right now. Ernest is a technically skilled player who has a really good left leg, and he has a nose for goals and assists," the Sports Director of the club, Søren Pedersen, added.
On joining the Danish side, Agyiri also expressed his delight at the new challenge ahead.
"I am very happy to have signed with Randers FC. I can't wait to get started and I'm really happy to be here now. I will do my utmost to help Randers FC to end up at the fun end of the table and win trophies with the club," he said.
"It is a big step for me to move to Randers FC and the Danish Superliga. It's a good opportunity for me to develop as a player as well. I just can't wait to play in front of our fans and show them my skills with the ball."
Prior to leaving Estonia, the player had scored 11 league goals this season and is the joint-topscorer in the league while also grabbing eight assists to his name.
Agyiri will join his teammates with immediate effect. The Ghanaian winger is in contention to feature in Saturday's away match against the defending Danish champions F.C. Copenhagen in Parken.
