All is set for the inauguration of the Young Agripreneurs Forum (YAF) at Koforidua Technical University on Friday, August 25, 2023, organisers of the event have stated.
YAF, an initiative of Kosmos Innovation Centre (KIC), is a student-led interactive forum that provides opportunity for sharing and exchanging ideas, interests and also engaging in activities pertaining to agriculture to trigger Agripreneurship.
Powered by KIC and the 2022 National Best Farmer, Oheneba Yaw Sarpong Siriboe I, CEO, Siriboe Farms Limited, the programme is under the theme “Opportunities along the agricultural value chain”.
This forum primarily seeks to empower and equip the youth to Rethink Agriculture and embrace the opportunities it offers.
Speaking at the event will be the Executive Director of Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC), Benjamin Gyan-Kesse; Joyce Agyare, Consultant - Scholastic INC - West Africa & Kenya; Franklin Owusu-Karikari, Director of Business Support – National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP); Nana Yaw Sarpong Siriboe (National Best Farmer 2022) and Alistair Djimatey, Foundation and Corporate Affairs Manager for Blueskies.
