Ghanaian musician Samini has been adjudged the Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the Year at the 2023 edition of the Ghana Music Awards - USA.
He came tops in a category where he was up against Epixode, Shatta Wale, Ras Kuuku, Stonebwoy and Samini.
Through his artistry, Samini has not only preserved the essence of African Reggae and Dancehall but has also significantly contributed to elevating Ghana's musical identity on an international platform.

The Ghana Music Awards - USA, introduced in 2020, has swiftly risen to prominence as an occasion that celebrates the artistic contributions of Ghanaian musicians in foreign lands. The recent ceremony was held at the Lincoln Theatre in Columbus, Ohio, on August 26.
The ceremony also showcased the rich varieties of Ghana's vibrant music scene. Joy Entertainment's KMJ took on the role of host, infusing the evening with energy and charisma, ensuring that the attendees remained engaged from start to finish.
Ghanaian talents such as Kwabena Kwabena took the stage to captivate the audience with their performances.
