The Ghanaian community in Liberia has been cautioned against any act that will breach the laws of their host country, especially in this critical moment in the country's history.
On Tuesday, Liberia will be at the polls for the fourth time after restoration of constitutional rule.
President of the Association of Ghanaian Professionals in Liberia, Eric Ellington Agyendenah, says security precautions are being put in place to ensure the safety of Ghanaians.

"We ply our trade here and the country needs to be peaceful so we can do so. Our interaction with local Liberians show that everybody wants this election to be peaceful," he said.
He further noted that, "we are not eligible voters in Liberia, the only thing we can do is to abide by the laws of the country".
Stakes are high in the Liberian Election slated for Tuesday.
It is the first time a party that has tasted power is seeking to stage a comeback.
Though the political tension is high, the Economic Community of West African States is helping put stringent measures in place to ensure credible election.

Leadership of the Ghanaian community in showing support to Liberia have asked members to strictly abide by the country's regulations as they have no voting rights.
Many Ghanaians living in Liberia are expatriates helping build the country that was once plunged into civil war.
Occasionally, they meet as a community to discuss issues of their welfare.
In one of such meetings, security measures were adopted in ensuring safety of the community.
Eric Ellington Agyendenah noted, "We also advice our members as much as possible to stay indoors during the elections. We have advised that they stock up food and other essential items for at least two weeks".
The Ghanaian community in Liberia continues to grow in number due to the long term peace.
