US-based Ghanaian comedian and actor, Michael Blackson believes businessman, Nana Kwame Bediako has every reason to run for office if he feels motivated to do so.
According to Mr Blackson, the manner in which successive leaders have run the country leaves room for the need for some sort of change.

He mentioned the current economic crisis in Ghana, has led to high standards of living among other forms of hardship.
“We know what is going on. We know what Ghana needs. We know what happened to Ghana. Everybody knows the economy got bad.”
However, the comedian insisted that only Ghanaians can make the decision in voting for the right person to come into power.
“Now elections are coming. We have to decide what is best for Ghana. Do we need something completely new like a Cheddar Freedom [Nana Kwame Bediako]? Do we need Mahama, this man with the experience but at the same time, I mean what went wrong with him? Do we want to keep the same people in that has the economy this way because they are responsible to fix what they messed up?”
Michael Blackson said that in the upcoming election, he will support the candidate who he believes is best suited to lead Ghana, regardless of party affiliation.
He added that everyone should be involved in the political process and should not sit on the sidelines.
“We have to get involved so we don’t complain about who wins. We have to figure it out.”
