Access Bank, Ghana Plc. has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MAC Autos to provide Ghanaians with a safer, faster, and a more affordable means of vehicle ownership.
The partnership was birthed to reecho the Bank’s commitment to addressing mobility needs of the everyday Ghanaian and Ghanaian business.
Speaking on the need for the partnership, Pearl Nkrumah, the Executive Director for Retail and Digital Banking at Access Bank, Ghana Plc., stated that “transportation, is a crucial aspect of our existence, and often poses challenges for individuals and families”.
“This partnership between us and MAC Autos seeks to address the fundamental need for accessible and affordable vehicle ownership in Ghana. This would help provide lasting solutions to many individuals and families currently being faced with transportation challenges”, she added.
Ms. Nkrumah also noted that this partnership is set to empower individuals and families to achieve their goals while contributing to the Ghanaian economy.
“This collaboration is not just about cars; it's about empowering individuals and businesses, strengthening families, and contributing to the growth of the Ghanaian economy. We envision a future where the convenience of owning a vehicle is within reach for more Ghanaians, driving progress and prosperity”.

Kafui Bimpe, Group Head of Business Banking, Access Bank Plc. stated, “Everyone wants to buy a new car, but financing is a challenge. That's the reason for this partnership with MAC Auto Ghana, to provide financing for anyone who wants to acquire a new car. The advantages of owning a new car are immense, as they are more efficient, economical, and safe.”
Country Head for MAC Autos, Raman Malhotra stated that the partnership with Access Bank coincides with ten years of operating in Ghana’s automobile industry. Their brand of vehicles includes Chevrolet, Isuzu, and MG Motors.
"Many people have the aspiration to buy new cars, and this is the first step for us to open the doors for people with sustainable incomes to obtain automobile loans at subsidized interest rates to buy cars from MAC Auto Ghana".
The partnership between Access Bank, Ghana Plc., and MAC Autos marks a significant step towards making vehicle ownership in Ghana more accessible and affordable. By combining affordable financing from Access Bank with a diverse range of vehicles from MAC Autos, this initiative aims to empower individuals and families, facilitate transportation convenience, and contribute to the growth of the Ghanaian economy.
