Morocco has welcomed established golfers for the 48th edition of the Hassan II Golf trophy as they continue to cement themselves as a prime destination for the sport.
Renowned golfers including Canada's Stephen Ames, who won last year's edition alongside Spain's Santiago Luna - a tournament record holder with three titles, have arrived as well as others from the PGA Tour Champions.
The competition has been running since 1971 following an initiative by His Late Majesty King Hassan II.
In the Women's Category, the 27th edition of the Lalla Meryem Cup is also organised under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The events, which begin on February 22 (1st and 2nd rounds) come off at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat.
