Ghana duo Benjamin Azamati and Barnabas Aggerh are through to the final of the men's 100m event at the ongoing African Games.
The two sprinters were part of three members of Ghana's team to have made the semifinal after cruising past their respective heats, the other being Sarfo Ansah.
Aggerh cruised into the final after coming second in semifinal heat 1 with a time of 10.46s while Ansah, who was in the same race finished fifth.
Azamati also claimed a spot in the 100m finals after finishing 2nd in the semifinal heat 2 in 10.41s. Cameroon's Emmanuel Eseme won the race in 10.23s.
In the women's event, Mary Boakye will be hoping to earn a podium finish after being the only Ghanaian to make it to the final.
Hor Halutie and Benedicta Kwartemaa failed in their attempts.
The final of the men's 100m event is on Tuesday, March 19.
