Mr. Samuel Kwasi Amoah, the Lead Pastor of the Higher Life Chapter of Assemblies of God at Sokoban, is admonishing people of the Christian faith to stand their ground and live exemplary lives.
He made these comments during the launch of the church's tenth anniversary themed: “A Decade of Higher Glory”.
“Church Leaders have not been able to enforce our Christian values and I pray we see the impact of Christians and their values much more felt in ministry and all departments across the nation,” he said.
Speaking on the role of the church and Christians in ensuring a successful selection of leaders for the country, Pastor Samuel Kwasi Amoah indicated that nothing should prompt chaos in the 2024 polls.

He charged the electorate to heed the biblical call to be peacemakers and ensure that anarchy finds no foothold.
“We are charging Christians and Ghanaians to bring their virtues to bear in this season. Let's unite ourselves and go through the period peacefully. Let's be the agent of peace.
“The Bible admonishes that blessed are the peacemakers. Nothing should guarantee any form of anarchy. As we pray for a new leader, the Lord should bless us with a leader who will lead the nation with God’s counsel,” he said.

The over 250 active members of the Higher Life Chapter of the Assembly of God in Sokoban, in the Ashanti region gathered for their 10th-anniversary celebration.
As part of the anniversary, the church will engage in prison outreach programmes, and provide medical and health screening. Other activities include mass evangelism in senior high schools and clean-up exercises.

Godfred Smith Asante, the Media Head and Anniversary committee member said, “We are ten this year and we want to celebrate the glory of God and what he has done for his people and church.
"We are seeking collaborations and reaching out to spread the gospel.
“Everything we are doing is to celebrate Christ who is the builder and founder of this church. Our doors are opened to everyone who wants to worship with us”.
