Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Monday, April 22, left Ghana for a working visit to Italy and the Vatican State.
The visit aims to enhance the enduring relations between Ghana, Italy, and the Vatican State.
He is scheduled to engage in bilateral talks during his visit, including with Pope Francis.

The meeting aims to underscore common peace, justice, and solidarity principles, guiding us toward a better future.
These diplomatic engagements are part of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's efforts to strengthen Ghana's connections with the global community.
Accompanying the Vice President are several government officials.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to return to Ghana on Thursday, April 25th.
