Ghanaian rapper, Medikal has disclosed that his former wife, Fella Makafui, had undergone a tummy tuck surgery to promote her business.
Medikal revealed that her flat stomach resulted from the surgery, not from her slim tea product.
According to him, although he initially disapproved of the idea, he ultimately paid for her surgeries in Nigeria and Turkey to ensure her happiness and spent over €25,000 on the procedures and related expenses.
"After she gave birth, she told me promoting her business will be slow so she wanted to do surgery. It's normal to give birth and gain some weight. I told her she can use ambassadors or influencers for the slim tea, so there was no need. But she disagreed and said she wanted to be the influencer of the products. We didn't talk for about three to four months because I disagreed."
“As stupid as I am and because I want to make the woman in my life happy. Why not? I ended up paying an amount of money for your surgery in turkey. Paying your hotel, everything. Almost 25,000 euros or more than. I don’t even remember,“ he said.
Medikal, who is currently at loggerheads with Fella, further revealed that he discouraged her from going ahead with the surgery because he valued her well-being and was content with her appearance.
Despite his concerns, Fella went ahead with the procedure.
“What if something happens to you? You have a husband. You have family back home. You have a daughter. Who are you trying to please? I am content with how you look. So what is the point? What is the purpose? What is the goal?"
He also added that, he spent over $300,000 into Fella's import and flat tummy business.
