Hearts of Oak Head Coach Aboubakar Ouattara has vowed to change the fortunes of the team through hard work after battling relegation last season.
The Phobians struggled in the recently concluded campaign, finishing 14th with 45 points out of a possible 102.
A dramatic 3-2 victory in their final match against Bechem United helped the team avoid relegation.
“I can’t say it is okay. It is part of the game. We are 18 teams. Everyone is struggling to get a good position,” Ouattara told SportsObama TV.
“Unfortunately, we struggled to stay. It is part of life, part of the game. We accept that challenge. We are going to work hard to come back.”
The start of the ongoing season is yet to be announced by the Ghana FA. However, Hearts are expected to be busy in the transfer market to bolster their squad for the upcoming campaign.
