Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh has signed for Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Black Stars from Ghana Premier League champions Samartex FC.
The 26-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the Tanzanian top-flight side after leaving FC Samartex. He arrived at the club over the weekend and has already made his debut in a CECAFA Kagame Cup tie against Rwandan champions APR FC on Tuesday.
The game, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for Singida, also saw recent Ghana Premier League exports Richmond Lamptey and Dauda Yussif Seidu feature for APR.
Keyekeh was the skipper of a Samartex team that secured the Ghana Premier League title by 10 points last season. He made 32 appearances for the Samreboi-based club, scoring five goals and bagging a further two assists.
His incredible performances saw him win the Home-based Men’s Player of the Year award in the recently held Ghana Football Awards.
