The Edward Osei-Boakye Trust Fund has made a profound impact on the health sector with its latest donations to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to healthcare, the trust provided vital funds to equip the dental and haematology departments with essential equipment.
The donation included a state-of-the-art Biosafety Cabinet valued at GH¢198,000 for the Hematology Department and a cutting-edge dental chair worth GH¢348,000 for the Dental Department.

These contributions aim to enhance the hospital's capabilities in delivering top-notch care to its patients.
Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo, the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church, Ghana, and chair of the trust fund, expressed the urgency and significance of these donations during the presentation ceremony.
"The dental unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital faces a severe shortage of essential equipment, especially dental chairs. We felt the need to support them, which is why we are making this cheque presentation.

"The haematology unit required a crucial piece of equipment to protect nurses and doctors while they care for cancer patients. Without it, they are at significant risk, making it an urgent necessity," said Most Rev. Dr. Boafo.
Dr. Mathew Boamah, head of the Dental Department, accepted the cheque on behalf of his team.
Similarly, Dr Ama Benneh Akwasikuma, head of the Haematology Unit, expressed gratitude for the Trust's generosity.
"We thank the Edward Osei-Boakye Trust for this kind gesture. We pray that the Lord will continue to increase you, Amen."

The donation ceremony was attended by several distinguished trustees, including Most Rev. Prof. Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, Retired Archbishop Emeritus of the Anglican Church, Kumasi Diocese; The Rt. Revd. Oscar Christian Amoah, Anglican Bishop of Kumasi Diocese; Bishop Emeritus of the Catholic Church in Konongo-Mampong, Most Rev. Joseph Osei Bonsu; Lawyer Frank Beecham; and Gerard Osei Boakye. The trust’s secretary and legal team were also present to witness this inspiring act of generosity.
The Edward Osei-Boakye Trust Fund’s unwavering dedication to supporting healthcare facilities is not just making a difference—it's inspiring hope.
With these new resources, the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital is better equipped to provide critical and lifesaving care, marking a significant step forward in the quest for improved healthcare in Ghana.
