After thrilling us with sold-out plays such as “Dilemma of a Ghost”, “The SLAVES”, and “Sons and Daughters”, Fiifi Coleman Productions is set to wow audiences with their new play “PRISON GRADUATES”.
The play is written by the Late Efo Kojo Mawugbe and directed by Fiifi Coleman. It stars seasoned actresses like Naa Ashorkor, Mavis Abrokwah, Jacqueline Ama Ansah and Queen Grace Adjetey. The play will open on the 26th of July at 8pm and 27th of July at 4pm and 8pm at the National Theatre of Ghana.
Prison Graduates is a satire about four prisoners who were granted presidential amnesty but are torn between accepting the pardon or staying in jail as they juxtapose current crises in the economy with the conditions in jail. They question what's out there that will stop them from going back to their criminal past.
“It’s been a long time coming. I have waited for 8 years to produce this play because of the messages it carries”.
