Convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, Pastor (Dr) William F. Kumuyi says the church is ready to put action to visions of the Christian faith that seek to transform the social and economic status of the African continent.
Speaking at a media engagement ahead of the week-long activities, Dr William F. Kumuyi is anticipating a transformational encounter that would shape economies across the globe.
He called for a collective drive to push the transformational agenda.
“I want to unite together. We thank God for what the church has done, Christian professionals have done and look forward to open our eyes to what we can do. Not only for the youth, but to change our world and to touch the economy and every area of profession,” he said.
He continued that: “The Lord’s given us vision, strategy, and drive to make things better. Not leave the world how we met it, but change it. In unity together under the grace of God, we will put action to our vision to make the economy everything better.”
Dr Kumuyi is in Ghana for the July edition of global crusade aimed at fostering national cohesion, spiritual growth, and socioeconomic development.

The Global Crusade, a monthly conference, aims at propagating the Gospel and rekindling steadfastness in believers while supporting the society through social interventions.
The non-denominational event hinged on Christian principles is aimed at promoting national cohesion and integration for peace and conflict resolution.
As over 17 countries in Africa hit the polls to elect new crop of leaders, Dr Kumuyi is optimistic of positive outcomes for elections on the African continent.
“God is in control with the elections of every national. He will grant every nation the very best people to lead them,” he said.
GCK-Ghana is in collaboration with the Christian Council of Ghana, the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, and Kumasi Council of Christian Churches.
Stakeholders of the Christian fraternity in the Ashanti region are in anticipation of transformative crusade.
The GCK-Ghana, slated for July 25 to July 30 at the Kumasi Sports Stadium, is on the theme: “Full Salvation and Total Healing through Christ”.
