A level 200 political science student at the University of Ghana, has been awarded a comprehensive support package by the Sung Bie'la Foundation Ghana (SBF-G) to facilitate his academic pursuits and mobility on campus.
The package includes a brand-new laptop, a white cane to assist with his mobility, a financial grant, and essential food items, all aimed at ensuring his comfort and success during his time at the university.
Adakudugu Moses is among six visually impaired students benefiting from the foundation's inclusive education initiative, which aims to provide equal access to quality education for physically challenged individuals of all backgrounds.

By offering support, the foundation seeks to promote equity and prevent marginalization, recognizing that individuals with disabilities deserve the same opportunities as others and should not be excluded due to circumstances beyond their control.
The provision of these items was made possible by the generosity of kind-hearted individuals who consistently donate to the foundation, enabling it to fulfil its mission of supporting vulnerable populations.
Presenting items to Adakudugu, founder of SBF-G, Hajia Zenabu Salifu Awinbe said the foundation's ability to make a positive impact is directly attributed to the ongoing contributions of these benevolent donors.
She specifically acknowledged US-based Professor George Agbango's kindness, who donated funds for the purchase of a laptop for the student after learning about his challenges on campus, demonstrating a heartwarming example of support and generosity.
“If we get more people to do the same, I think the world will be a better place to live,” she said.
Hajia Awinbe emphasised that true beauty in life comes from the efforts of the majority to provide support and relief to those who are suffering, enabling them to cope with life's challenges and overcome their difficulties.
“I don’t think there is the need to accumulate so much wealth when a lot of people are suffering in every part of Ghana. It doesn’t just make sense,” she lamented.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Adakudugu expressed his heartfelt thanks for the unexpected kindness, having lost hope of receiving any support. Hailing from Binduri district in the Upper East region, he felt forsaken until this gesture restored his faith. He promised to utilise the donated items wisely, striving to excel in his studies and become a top-performing student.
“I express my sincere gratitude to the foundation which has contributed largely to my life and my education,” he said.
