The University of Professional Studies Law School on Thursday, July 25, honoured the Paramount Chief of Asante Asokore, Prof Nana SKB Asante at an Honorific Lecture at the university's auditorium in Accra.
Under the theme, ‘Celebrating A Legacy of Service and Excellence', the law school conferred on him a Lifetime in Law Award for his outstanding contributions to the development of the legal profession in Ghana.
He was presented with a citation which elaborates his total commitment to the progress of the legal practice in the country.
The event witnessed a heavy presence of retired and active legal practitioners, government officials, chiefs, businessmen and students.
Chief Justice Her Ladyship Gertrude Torkono, backed by Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame conferred the honours on him.
