Belgian top flight side Sporting Charleroi have announced the signing of Ghanaian youngster Raymond Asante.
The 20-year-old joins the Jupiler Pro League side on a season-long loan for the 2024/25 season from Italian Serie A side Udinese.
Asante was part of Charleroi’s pre-season campaign in the Netherlands and featured in four games during their preparations for the campaign where he scored twice.

Asante was a standout performer for Udinese's youth side last season as he powered the club's U-19 side to promotion to the Primavera 1.
The forward had an exceptional season, notching an impressive tally of 21 goals while adding up 12 assists across all competitions.
With Udinese’s Primavera side Asante played a total of 53 games and scored 23 goals and 13 assists having joined from Young Apostles.
With his move to Charleroi, Asante will be playing top flight football for the first time in his career.
He is named in the Zebra’s squad for this weekend’s game against St. Truidense.
