The Mahama 2024 campaign has announced a series of youth-focused activities, led by the flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, to take place on Monday, August 12th, in observance of International Youth Day.
The planned events underscore Mahama’s dedication to addressing the concerns and aspirations of the youth.
According to a statement released by his campaign team, the day will begin with the launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Manifesto at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA).
This manifesto will outline Mahama's strategies and promises aimed at empowering the younger generation and tackling the pressing issues they face.
In the evening, Mahama will engage directly with young people at a special Mahama Youth Town Hall Meeting, to be held at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
This event will provide a platform for the youth to interact with Mahama and discuss his policies, particularly those aimed at reducing youth unemployment and promoting education, skills development, and entrepreneurship.
The statement, signed by his aide Joyce Bawah Mogtari, emphasised that these initiatives are part of Mahama’s broader vision of “Building the Ghana we want together.”
The campaign highlights his belief in the importance of empowering the youth and creating pathways for their success.
