Atorkor Technical Institute has named a block after Clement Kofi Humado, former Minister for Youth and Sports, in recognition of his pivotal role in the establishment of the institute in 2011.
Togbi Akumey Geli Adjorlolo, Dufia of Atorkor, who presented the award at the 4th graduation ceremony of the institute held on 17th August 2024, praised Mr. Humado's significant contributions to the school's infrastructure development, citing his instrumental role in securing funding and providing guidance during the establishment phase.
"Mr. Humado's support was invaluable from the outset," Togbi Adjorlolo noted. "He took the time to review our proposal, offered insightful suggestions, and helped secure funding when it was needed. His commitment to education and community development is truly commendable."
Clement Kofi Humado, the immediate past Member of Parliament for the Anlo constituency, was recognised for his tireless efforts in establishing and developing the Atorkor Technical Institute, which has become a beacon of hope for vocational training in the region.
At the graduation ceremony were dignitaries including Mawusi Nudekor Awity the immediate past Director General of Ghana TVET Service, Hisanobu Mochisuki, the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana. The ceremony was chaired by Togbi Tengey Dzokoto Gligui VII of Anyako.
