Sales boomed, and exciting discounts rained with huge deals brokered at the 2024 Republic Bank-Luv FM Habitat Fair in Kumasi.
The biggest housing fair in the Ashanti Region ended with patrons and exhibitors calling for an extension of the days for hosting the event.
But organizers of the event are promising to have mini-clinics at different locations within Kumasi ahead of the main fair in the coming year.

General Manager of Sales and Customer Service of The Multimedia Group, David Max-Fugar, said in addition to the mini-fairs, a public lecture on home ownership and the built industry will be held as part of activities leading to the main habitat fair.
“We have heeded their calls. We are assuring of having more mini-clinics outside Kumasi but across the Greater Kumasi metropolis to have a lot more people have access to this one-stop-shop experience,” he said.
The exciting 4-day event at the Kumasi City Mall saw scores of people trooping in to enquire and patronize an array of services and products in the built industry.
The mall has been kept busy within the last four days, hosting prospective homeowners and experts in land acquisition and documentation, interior decorators, furniture makers, security door manufacturers and real estate developers.

Headline sponsors, Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC offered mortgage banking services and education to people who seek financing for their homes or property acquisition.
Head of Mortgage Services at the bank, Dan Adjetey Mohenu emphasized that the event has afforded the opportunity for patrons to grasp mortgage investment.
He is convinced that education has provided the people of Ashanti more insight into the need for a mortgage when one plans to build, improve, or own any residential property.
The 2024 edition of the habitat fair was held on the theme: “Home Ownership…An investment not just a home”.
