NPA’s outstanding performance highlighted their commitment to excellence and dedication to sportsmanship at this annual corporate sports event.
Speaking on Prime Morning on Tuesday, 30 October, Rocher Davon, who is UPPF Officer/ Welfare Organising Secretary at NPA, emphasised the importance of sports for the organisation.
"It's true we’re regulators of the petroleum downstream sector. We are very active on the ground, with young, energetic staff who ensure value for money and fair play in the petroleum industry," he said.
"We also focus on the welfare of our staff, organising sports activities to foster team bonding and socialisation. We take sports very seriously and invest in it to keep our staff healthy and fit."
With skill and energy, NPA claimed four gold medals in men’s and women’s table tennis, lawn tennis, and men’s Tug of Peace, securing their top position in the 15-discipline corporate sports extravaganza.
The tournament also featured other exciting events, such as CEOs' and ladies' penalty shootouts, a women’s 50m dash, men’s 100m dash, and tug of peace.
The next edition promises to be even bigger and better.
