Joy News reporters Erastus Asare Donkor and Dr Neta Parsram were adjudged winners at the 10th Mining Industry Awards ceremony held in Accra. Erastus won in the broadcast category, while Dr Parsram won in the online category.
Both journalists received a cash prize of 5,000 cedis each.
The Ghana Chamber of Mines hosted the 10th Ghana Mining Industry Awards (GMIA) on Friday, November 22, 2024, to recognize excellence and the contributions of mining companies and individuals to the country’s development.
The awards were divided into two main categories with approximately 20 sub-categories. The first category was based on public nominations, while the second was determined by audit reports from regulatory bodies.
