Aduana F.C have parted ways with head coach Yaw Acheampong following a series of disappointing results in the Ghana Premier League.
The decision to sack him follows Sunday's 2-0 home loss to Asante Kotoko who had lost their four league games.
A well-taken free-kick by defender Patrick Asiedu and a goal from sensational attacker Albert Amoah sealed the victory for the Porcupine Warriors and intensified calls for a change in the coaching setup.
In the interim, assistant coach Paul Tandoh has been tasked with taking charge of the team until a substantive head coach is appointed.
Despite finishing fifth last season, the two-time league champions have struggled this season, recording five losses, two draws, and just two wins in their first nine games.
They currently sit in 13th place on the league table with 12 points, a performance well below the club’s standards.
The final blow came after Aduana FC suffered a painful 2-0 defeat to giants Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
