The company also awarded a number of Ambassadors of the Ghana Water Limited in the region who serve as liaisons in the various communities providing information and feedback between the communities and the company with water-related issues.
The celebration not only recognized the customers' contributions but also aimed to strengthen the partnership between the water company and its users.
It seeks to foster a sense of community and shared responsibility in water conservation.

Regional Chief Manager, Theophilus Tawiah Collins, also presented the financial status of the region at the event, stressing that all water users must honor their payment of bills as the region's arrears were as high as 40 million cedis.
