The Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra hosted an extraordinary event, Ambassador Night, marking a historic milestone in the hotel’s legacy.
The event which took place on Friday, November 29, celebrated Ghana’s rich heritage of diplomacy and leadership, honouring the trailblazers who have shaped the nation’s global impact.

As part of this remarkable occasion, Mövenpick unveiled newly renamed meeting spaces dedicated to five iconic Ghanaian diplomats and leaders.
Among those honoured were Kofi Annan, Dr Alexander Quaison-Sackey, Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambas, Ambassador Richard Maximilian Akwei, and Mrs Gloria Adwoa Nikoi.

These names were chosen to pay homage to their unwavering contributions to diplomacy, peacebuilding, and international relations, reflecting the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel’s storied history as a symbol of Ghanaian excellence.
The event brought together an esteemed gathering of diplomats, stakeholders, and changemakers from across Ghana and beyond.

Guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening featuring exquisite fine dining, vibrant cultural showcases, and a celebration of Ghana’s enduring global influence.
Speaking at the event, the Acting General Manager of Movenpick Hotel, Isaac Adjei highlighted the significance of Ambassador Night.

He said that the event was more than just a celebration; but it is a reaffirmation of his outfits commitment to preserving and promoting Ghana’s legacy of diplomacy and leadership.
“These newly named spaces are a testament to the values and principles that continue to inspire greatness in Ghana and around the world,” Mr Adjei added.
