Augustine Okrah scored his first goal of the season as Bechem United beat struggling Legon Cities 2-0.
Francis Acquah broke the deadlock, putting Bechem ahead in the 34th minute, before Okrah struck at the death to seal the win for Bechem.
The result marked Bechem’s fourth consecutive win sending them with a point of leaders Heart of Lions.
Assistant coach of Bechem, Seth Osei, was delighted with the result.
“It was a very good game for us. We were good in both halves, and a 2-0 away win is always a good result,” he said.
“Legon Cities are a very good side, but sometimes in football things don’t go your way,” he added.
The defeat keeps Cities rock bottom of the league with the Royals suffering three defeats in their last four games.
