Black Galaxies head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has named his final squad for Ghana’s African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria.
The 26-man squad includes Black Stars quartet Isaac Afful, Razak Simpson, Ebenezer Abban and Jerry Afriyie.
The four players, among a host of others in the senior national team’s last squad, will be looking to inspire Ghana to the 2024 CHAN qualification.
Hearts of Oak centre-back Kelvin Osei Asibey has been dropped from the team to face Nigeria as has Asante Kotoko forward Saaka Dauda.
Albert Amoah—who has been a crucial for the Porcupine Warriors this season—scoring seven goals in 12 games—is also included the team alongside Berekum Chelsea talisman, Stephen Amankona.
Ghana face Nigeria looking to make another appearance at the continental championship organised for domestic players.
The first leg of this crunch encounter is scheduled for Sunday, December 22 at the Accra Sports Stadium with the return leg six days later in Nigeria.
The Galaxies beat Nigeria on penalties after two legs to seal a spot in the last edition where they exited in the quarterfinal stage.
Here is Ghana’s team for the two games:
