Fadama Ajax emerged victorious in the inaugural Joseph Paintsil U15 Cup held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Apenkwa AstroTurf in Achimota.
The tournament featured eight juvenile teams competing fiercely for the ultimate trophy and cash prizes for outstanding performances.
Fadama Ajax claimed the title and a cash prize of GH¢15,000 after defeating Evergreen Professionals Academy, who were unlucky in the finals and finished as runners-up.

“It’s all about giving to the younger kids for them to know that there is always hope,” Paintsil told JoySports
“For them to always be encouraged for whatever they do, so me doing this is just for them to know that there is always a way in playing professional football.
“This is where I started, so they have a taste of how it was - the difficulties, the situations, ups and downs, and everything. But in the beginning, they’ll need to know that they need to fight very hard to reach the top. So, I’m just giving back to society for them to also work hard.”
