The Ghana Hotels Association says it will push the incoming NDC government to consolidate all taxes imposed on its members.
President of the Association, Dr Edward Ackah-Nyamike Jnr revealed that this will be one of the surest way for the country to achieve its 1.2 million tourists target.
Speaking to Joy Business at the Opening of Manna Heights Hotel in the Central Region, Dr. Ackah-Nyamike Jnr stressed the need for more support for the sector.
He praised the hotel for its evolution, noting its environmentally conscious approach and the addition of the beach resort to its offerings.
“We are really doing well and i want the new government to look at the area of taxes for us. If we have all taxes as one it will be good. Manna Heights has transformed itself over the years with the inclusion of the Beach Resort, embracing sustainability, which is essential for the future of our industry. I’m thrilled to be part of this inspiring journey,” Dr. Ackah-Nyamike added.
Speaking at an event in Accra to officially announce the opening of Manna Beach Resort, located in Mankessim, the Head of Sales and Marketing at Manna Heights Hotel and Conference Centre, Matthew Amoah, indicated that the resort offers guests a comprehensive and exceptional hospitality experience.
“Today is truly a special day because we are here to introduce Manna Beach Resort.
“We have designed special packages for corporate institutions to unwind. I encourage those who hold their events and conferences outside Accra to come to Manna Heights for a complete hospitality experience,” Mr. Amoah said.
Situated in Mankessim in the Central Region, Manna Heights Hotel stands as the largest hotel in the area, boasting over 122 rooms, a combined conference capacity of 2,500 and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
