The stakes are high for Dreams FC as they welcome Basake Holy Stars to the Tuba Astro Turf on match day 19 of the Ghana Premier League.
With only 16 points from the first round, Dreams FC find themselves positioned in 15th place, just a point above the drop zone.
Dreams fought for a point against Basake Holy Stars on matchday two and will look to claim all three points at home this time around.
After Dreams' remarkable run to the semi-finals of the 2024 CAF Confederations Cup, the Still Believe lads were expected to do better in the league. However, Karim Zito's team has struggled to replicate their continental success, with a dismal record of three wins, eight draws, and seven losses in the ongoing season.
The Believe Boys have the same point with Legon Cities and desperately need three points to create some breathing room between themselves and the relegation zone.
Meanwhile their opponents, Holy Stars, have enjoyed a respectable debut season in the Premier League, finishing the first round in mid-table with 23 points.
Abdulai Gazale's team has shown resilience, remaining undefeated in their last two league matches, including an impressive goalless draw against Hearts of Oak. They'll be looking to capitalize on Dreams FC's struggles and add to their woes.
With both teams having something to prove, Sunday’s clash promises to be a thrilling contest as Dreams look to bounce back to winning ways to ease their relegation fears while Basake Holy Stars will like to add to their woes.
