Investigative journalist Manasseh Awuni Azure has commended David Asante, the former Managing Director of the Ghana Publishing Company Limited, for his exemplary service in public office.
His remarks came in response to Mr Asante’s announcement of his departure after an eight-year tenure at the helm of the state-owned publishing company.
In a Facebook comment on Wednesday, February 19, Mr Awuni praised Mr Asante for demonstrating that public service can be conducted with honour and dedication.

According to him, Mr Asante’s leadership serves as a reminder that integrity and professionalism are achievable in governance and public administration.
"You have proven that public service can be undertaken with nobility and dedication," Mr Awuni stated, acknowledging the impact of Mr Asante’s stewardship.

He further expressed his admiration for the former MD’s commitment to excellence and the transformative changes he championed at the Ghana Publishing Company Limited.
In his farewell post, Mr Asante reflected on his years of service and highlighted the progress made under his leadership.
