Head coach of the Ghana senior women's national team, the Black Queens, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, has admitted the difficulty in playing away in his first game.
The Black Queens are up against the Atlas Lionesses in a friendly game on Friday, February 21, in Casablanca in what will be the Swede's first game in charge of the national team.
Having seen a surge in Morocco's football over the years, Bjorkegren believes the game will be a challenge for his side considering the venue and his new technical staff.
"Morocco is a good team with a lot of talent. Playing away from home will be a challenge, especially with our new coaching staff and players," he said.
"But we're focused on building for the long term, learning from our mistakes, and preparing for the summer tournament. We'll work hard to win, but we're also looking at the bigger picture."
With an appearance at the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) tournament to come later in the year, the gaffer sees the friendly as an opportunity to trial his squad.
"It's essential to give all players a chance to showcase their abilities. We need to balance short-term and long-term goals, focusing on building for the future," he added.
"I want to see all players participate in both games and training sessions, ensuring everyone gets a chance to demonstrate their potential."
Ghana will take on Morocco at 5 PM at the Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca before putting their prowess to the test against AS FAR Rabat on Monday.
